The podcast is hosted by Paul Taylor.
A former British Navy Aircrew Officer, Paul is a Neuroscientist, Physiologist and Nutritionist who is currently completing his PhD in Applied Psychology, working with the Australian Military of developing Stress Fitness.
A TV presenter through his program Body and Brain Overhaul, Paul is an a published Author and Podcast host who was twice voted Australian Fitness Industry presenter of the year.
Paul has a proven track record in thriving under high pressure situations, having been an Airborne Anti-Submarine Warfare Officer and has undergone rigorous Military Combat Survival and Resistance-to-Interrogation Training.
Paul is a PracAdemic on Resilience and high performance, having published multiple academic papers on the subject as well as having been a professional boxer and Australian Karate champion (who has trekked for 3 weeks deep into the Amazon Jungle) and just published a book titled "Death by Comfort". Paul is an Irishman based in Melbourne, Australia.
The podcast explores science-based solutions and interventions for people to optimise their mind, body and brain. The audience are well-educated listeners and the aim of the podcast is for Paul to interview people at the top of their field and help bring their ideas into the thinking of listeners to enrich their lives.

The Details
We record using Zoom. A link will be sent when you book your session. If you have another preferred recording platform then let us know so we can accommodate.
Please also make sure you have the following:
An up-to-date version of Google Chrome installed on your computer.
A solid and stable WIFI connection.
A quiet place to record with no interruptions – please do not attempt to record in a large, outside or crowded space.
Headphones with an inbuilt microphone – Apple headphones work great.
All phone and computer notifications on silent.
Interview structure
Although every interview is different, usually the structure is as follows:
First 10mins – Meet and greet, sound and tech check, getting settled in
Next 60mins – Recording
Interview questions
We work hard to make sure every interview is well researched. The style is always relaxed and conversational – so no real preparation should be required. If you have specific questions you would like Paul to ask, please email at least 24 hours prior to team@paultaylor.biz.
